 “Are you convenient?”(X)

英文字典上一查, Convenient 這個形容詞,解釋是“If a way of doing something is convenient, it is easy, or useful or suitable for a particular purpose”。

 Will five o'clock be convenient for you?
*上面這樣的說法,比說"Are you available at 5:00?"

 Is it convenient for [to] you?

 I’ll come if you are convenient. (x)
 I’ll come if it is convenient for [to] you. (O)

“Traffic is convenient in Taipei" (X)(台北交通很方便)

 These retail outlets are situated in convenient locations and are easily accessible by public transport.

 Railway is convenient.
 Travelling is convenient for people where there are railways.
