line作名詞有「隊伍」的意思，當動詞則有「排隊」之意。插隊還有另一種說法：cut in front of sb.。如果有人插隊，你可以跟他說：The line starts back there.（請後面排隊）。

 

例句：

1. Please don’t cut in line.

請不要插隊。

2. I can’t believe that guy tried to cut in front of me.

我真不敢相信那傢伙想要插我的隊。
