形容人耳根軟、容易上當、容易聽信別人的話，可以用形容詞gullible，名詞是gullibility。類似的形容詞還有：trusting「容易相信他人的」、naïve「天真的，輕信的」、 credulous「輕信的，易上當的」。

 例句：
You’d have to be pretty gullible to believe his story.
耳根軟的人才會相信他編的故事。

Scams are often targeted at gullible senior citizens.
詐騙通常鎖定那些耳根子軟的老年人。
