「工會」是指基於共同利益而自發組織的社會團體，這個共同利益團體諸如為同一雇主工作的員工，或是在某一產業領域的個人，其英文說法為 labor union 或是 trade union，也常簡稱為 union。

例句：
The union is demanding higher pay for workers.
工會正為勞工們爭取更高的薪資。

The labor union is planning to organize a strike.
工會計畫要發起罷工。
