「解約」指的是合約或協定因為某些原因而被解除，英文說法為 terminate，也可用 cancel 或 break off。另外，terminate 除了表示「解約」之外，也可以表示「解雇」。

例句：
The agreement can be terminated under certain conditions.
該項協定在某些情形下可能會被解除。

If payment isn't received by tomorrow, the contract will be terminated.
如果明天之前沒有收到款項，這份合約就會被解除。
