在行政機關、機場、醫院或各種大型商場中都設有詢問處，協助民眾解決問題。這種地方就叫做 information desk，簡稱 information。詢問處有時會設置縮寫 i 的標示，這裡的 i 就是 information。
例句：
The information desk is in the hospital's main lobby on the first floor.
詢問櫃檯設置在醫院一樓大廳處。
The lady at information told me the flight has been cancelled.
