6個簡單片語 英文活起來
如果你的辦公室常有老外，下列句子保證三天兩頭聽得到。
但問題又來了，你從來不會這樣用。
學英文要「活」，讓英文活起來的竅門就是不用難字；簡單字也可以組合出聽起來很聰明的英文。
1、On top of that
老外很喜歡用這個字，這個片語大概可以解釋為「除此之外」，或是「更重要的是...」。例如：The unemployment rate is rising, and on top of that, factory orders are also down. （失業率增加了；除此之外，工廠的訂單也減少了。）
2、Stay on top of
Stay on top of something指一直努力表現到最好，想把英文講好，也可以說成是Stay on top of English at work。又或者：I've been working very hard to stay on top of my work. （我一直很努力將我的工作做到最好。）
3、On the ball
On the ball源自於運動場。當你on the ball，就得警覺一下自己是否掌控好該做的事。Make sure you are on the ball with those reports. （確定你這些報告沒問題。）相反的，drop the ball意思是你沒有完成任務並讓和你一起工作的人失望了。
4、Get the ball rolling
Get the ball rolling意思是開始做一件事，而且讓它可以很順暢地運作。Let's get the ball rolling on this project. （我們開始展開專案吧！）如果這件事情已經進行到一半，你還可以用keep the ball rolling.表示維持運作順暢。
5、Multi-tasking
