Paper Pandas
The exhibition “1,600 Pandas” moved to the plaza in front of the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall today. Aside from the pandas, a collection of 200 paper Formosan black bears are also on display. The organizers put imitation radio transmitter collars on three of these Formosan black bears. If visitors photograph and post these photos along with personal information, they will be entered in a special sweepstakes drawing.
Flower Market Reopens
A ceremony was held today to open the new Neihu Taipei Flower Market. The 2.8-hectare facility is bright and spacious. The city government also invested NT$20 million in a new auction system which in the future may allow bidding to be done over the internet.
貓熊兩廳院
紙貓熊展覽今天開始移師兩廳院廣場舉展出,除了1600隻紙貓雄,還多了200隻台灣黑熊,策展單位還特地在其中3隻台灣黑熊身上,掛上項圈,只要在茫茫熊海中,找到掛項圈的台灣黑熊,就可以參加抽獎活動。
花市重新開
位於內湖的台北花卉批發市場剛搬新家,今天舉行啟用儀式,佔地2.8公頃的新花市大樓,空間寬敞明亮,市府還耗資了2千萬,添購全新拍賣系統,未來可望透過網路視訊,競價拍賣。
