Aisle 和 isle 是英文眾多同音異形異義詞 (homophones) 之一。Aisle 意為「(兩排座位間或超市貨架間的) 走道；(教堂兩邊以一排柱子同中殿隔開的) 側廊，側堂」。這個字也是英文兩個頗為常用成語的關鍵字：一為 go/walk down the aisle (結婚 － aisle 用單數)，Jack and Amy walked down the aisle yesterday.
