不知道觀眾有沒有發現，我們在看國外電影時，常常會看到台詞翻譯的很有意思，像是五月天、蔡依林、小S等人名，都曾經出現在電影中，明明英文原文說的不是這些人，但翻譯就是翻成這樣，其實會這麼做，就是為了要讓觀眾更有共鳴，而不同國家也會因地制宜的選擇不同的翻譯，尤其是像喜劇片這種較常形容到生活題材的電影，這種翻譯現場更常見，讓人看了更能融入劇情。

宜蘭冬山鄉牛寮坑瀑布，因為景色優美常吸引許多外國遊客造訪。最近卻有遊客發現，牛寮坑瀑布的路標，瀑布兩個字，竟然直接翻譯成「Pubu」，這可讓外國人念了忍不住笑出來，原來pubu的發音，就像是在說上大號。

要往宜蘭冬山鄉熱門景點，牛寮坑瀑布的方向沿途就能看到路標，不過這塊路標 中文沒問題，怪的是英文翻譯pubu 好像有點怪，pubu外國人眉頭一皺，什麼這竟然是瀑布的英文翻譯。 但讓人更傻眼的是pubu和另一個單字poo-poo幾乎同音，而且許多人有所不知 poo-poo在英文裡，可是上大號的意思，如果把兩個單字，合起來翻譯，這牌子不就成了「牛寮坑上大號」嗎？
