服飾是一種無聲的語言,第一印象的90%產生於服裝。美國Mervyns百貨做過一項調查:高達九成上班族根本搞不清楚正式服裝(business formal)、半休閒服(business casual)以及純休閒服(plain casual)之間的差別。尤其當很多企業的規定簡單到只剩下「smart casual」,員工(1)自由心證穿著低腰牛仔褲、夾腳拖,甚至低胸上衣上班,讓刺青、腳趾和乳溝充斥辦公室,成為新一代職場災難。

When you dress in business formal/business professional attire, you are dressing to impress. Texture and cutting are absolutely the first consideration, no matter suit or skirt, dealing with personal appearance management and knowing the right and wrong outfit for yourself, is the way you dress for success.

當你穿上正式服裝/專業服裝,就是要讓人記住你,質料和剪裁絕對是第一優先考量,不論是三件式套裝或裙裝,先做到個人外觀管理,瞭解自己適合與不適合的服裝,才能穿出成功。

When you need to show creativity, business casual/plain casual have to come out of your closet. Here, comfort and taste are (A)prime directives. However, casual does not mean sloppy or inappropriate clothing pieces. Avoid stained or wrinkled clothing and overly revealing or offensive attire.

當你的行業必須展現創意或親切時,半休閒與純休閒就得出籠,舒適又有品味是最高指導原則。但「休閒」不代表「邋褟」,髒、皺、過度暴露和突兀的衣著絕對禁止。
