help the Heat snap：snap本意為「(突然)折斷、(突然)斷掉」，引申為「終止」之意。help 接受詞再接第二個動詞時，用不定詞【to+動詞】，但一般常省略to。
losing streak：連敗。此處streak是指(比賽勝、負場數的)連續。連勝當然就是winning streak了。

fractured：【動詞】骨折；【名詞】：fracture。脫臼是 dislocate，筋骨、肌肉、韌帶、關節的扭傷是 sprain。

教練Rudy Tomjanovich認為 Francis只要過一段時間就能得心應手。
take (somebody) a while：花(某人) 一段時間。
in a groove：得心應手，順手，上手。

最大的差異在於籃板球數量的多寡。即使他們擺出「地虎」陣容，他們搶籃板球也比我們搶得兇。
went small：排出身材較為矮小的球員陣容。也可以說 play small ball。
