across：【介系詞】，表示「穿越」過線。如欲表示「穿越」過某空間，應該用 through 這樣的【介系詞】。

midcourt：中線。

took a pass：took是「接住、接到」某物之意，也可以用 received。

drove past a defender：past也是【介系詞】，表示「繞過」之意。

foul line：罰球線，也叫做 free throw line。
