Man: Is this seat empty?（這位子空的吧？）

Woman: Yes. Oh, and this one will be too if you sit down.（是的。噢，你坐下後我這個位置也會空出來。）

這是從動作的敘述「我的位子也會空掉」，還加了一個假設句，暗指「我目前並不想看到你」。（一般老外會用Is the seat taken? 這位子有人做嗎？這裡用empty也想小用一下幽默感。）

Man: I’d go to the ends of the world for you.（我願意追你到天涯海角。）

Woman: Ok. But would you stay there?（那你願意待在那兒嗎?）

在搭訕類的笑話裡，男性通常就比較居於弱勢了。女方通常都是高高在上、竭盡所能地挖苦對方。
