講英文最怕直接翻譯，生生澀澀的，像菜沒煮熟；要「煮熟」你的英文，最好的方法就是：找出那些依賴翻譯就講不出的句型、字或詞，這類的句子，大部份都不難，差在「沒想到」，沒想到的這些死角，我們稱之為"Blind Corner"。今天來看第81~90個例句：
81. 你說的有些道理，我會接受你的建議。
There’s something to/in what you say; I’ll take your advice.(叙述等)有點道理
82. 您能不能提供貴公司在美國上市的計畫的書面資料?
Will you provide some written documents on your company’s plan to offer its stocks in the US?
83. 本店將於三月三十一日盤存，休業一天。
Our shop will be closing on 31 March for stocktaking.
84. 薪水固然重要，但這工作伴隨而來的責任更吸引我。
Money is important, but the responsibility that goes along with this job is what interests me the most.
85. 但如果我們遇上塞車，會花更多時間….
But if we run into traffic, it could take longer…. (遇上塞車)
86. 你的人際溝通能力真的進步很多。
You really have come a long way with your interpersonal skills. (進步很多)
87. 他沒有跟我提到細節。你可以補充說明嗎?
He didn’t give me any details. Could you fill me in? (補充說明)
88. 我的名字是Elisabeth，但是你可以叫我Lisa就好。
My name is Elisabeth, but you can call me Lisa for short. (簡稱)
89. 我很擔心落得肺炎的下場，所以決定戒菸了。
I worry about ending up with lung cancer so I decide to quit smoking.
90. 這間公司似乎不是很重視人才。
The company doesn’t seem to value its pool of talent. (重視人才)
